Iron deficiency
Tom Zabadal , MSU Horticulture
Home > Scouting guide> iron deficiency
Iron deficiency occurs occasionally on grapevines but seldom has economic impact. Affected vines have young, very light yellow leaves near shoot tips that may appear almost white. Extremely fast-growing shoots may exhibit this symptom. Some varieties are especially vulnerable to this deficiency when grown on highly alkaline soil.
